Ich habe mir das Buch bestellt, weil ich geglaubt habe, dort Hilfe für meine eigenen Lackierarbeiten zu finden, ich wollte auch kein Buch wo zum x-ten mal eine Airbrushpistole erklärt wird.Dieses Buch ist aber eher ein Buch über Marcus Pfeil und seine Werke. Dazu sind alle Texte auch noch zusätzlich in Englisch abgedruckt. Okay, es sind einige gute Bilder (aber auch schlechte) von wirklich tollen Lackierungen im Buch, die auch eine Anregung sein können, allerdings waren schon viele Arbeiten in einschlägigen Magazinen zu sehen. Auch die drei Doppelseiten mit Schnappschüssen bekannter Customizer und Marcus Pfeil, interessieren mich wenig. Der Klappentext verspricht: "...werden Grundlagen und Techniken von Airbrush, Custompainting und Pinstriping ausführlich beschrieben." Richtig ist, dass zwar acht Paintjobs "step by step" vorgestellt werden - dies jedoch keinesfalls "step by step" erfolgt, sondern lediglich anhand einiger kleiner Bilder vorgestellt wird.Amazon hat dieses Bilderbuch mal wieder flott geliefert. Das Buch kann ich nicht als Arbeitshilfe für eigenes Custompainting empfehlen.
